There are times when you experience trials and problems in life that cause you to ask yourself, "Why me?" I don't know, and honestly I'm not writing this post to answer that question because I am human just like you. And just like you, things happen in my life, too and I don't always understand the reason why. There are times I have felt totally in a daze, worried about why things are the way they are. I have endured numerous trials, problems of all kinds, much pain, and tumultuous times in my life. What I can say to you, and to whatever problems you are facing is "Keep swimming!" If you don't know how to swim, then "Keep floating."
The "keep swimming" tagline is from a famous kid's movie, but those words ring true and can provide you a way to deal with the stresses of life. If you can hang on and keep swimming, keep moving, then you will eventually find that problem behind you, far behind you. It's not always easy, and I am not trying to make it as such, but I do know firsthand that no matter what life throws at you, as long as you are living and breathing, then you can make it through. Keep swimming.
I encourage you to be strong, to persevere even in the midst of troubled times, even when your heart is heavy and hurting, keep swimming. Talk to yourself, tell yourself that you are worth fighting for. You are worth living your best life. You are worth living your dreams now. I refuse to live my life full of worry, frustration, and being unhappy. I expect good things to happen in my life. I remind myself constantly that I am living a blessed and favored life. Sure, I've dealt with tough times. That's life. It doesn't always seem fair, but is it fair when good things happen in my life and terrible things happen in someone else's? What I'm saying is we have to take the bitter with the sweet. There will be days that are full of sunshine and days that are stormy. Keep swimming.
Let nothing stop you. The more you believe, the more you can achieve. Everything isn't always going to be handed to you or me on a silver platter. Sometimes we have to go the long way around. The road of life has many curves and trails. The key is never give up. Never stop believing. Never ever stop. Keep Swimming!
