Written Word Editing has been assisting clients with their editing and publishing needs since 2007. It is owned, founded, and operated by national bestselling author Shelia E. Bell. Her editorial resume’ includes a sundry list of clients whose books she has been instrumental in placing in print and eBook forms.

 

Written Word Editing has assisted hundreds of college and high school students in the completion of essay and research papers  as well as serviced hundreds of aspiring and veteran authors with editing, formatting, and publishing their literary works. She has been a freelance speechwriter for numerous religious affiliations and persons for close to forty years, and is a professional literary consultant.

Bell was the co-founder of Bonita And Hodge Publishing Group, LLC, where she performed duties as one of the company’s acquisitions editors. She is a former professional proofreader for Kensington/Urban Books, founder of Black Writers And Book Clubs (BWABC) Literacy Festival, Living Your Dreams Now Foundation, and Memphis African American Writers group. She serves as a mentor to aspiring authors in the pursuit of their literary dreams and endeavors.
